Last week one of my favourite high end cosmetics shops had a 20% sale on makeup. I was really hoping to pick up the new dior palettes in Idirescent Leather or Earth Tones, or both.

Unfortunately, after seeing these palettes online, swatched and all, for almost a full month...our tiny country does not seem to have lauched the Dior fall collection yet..not even last week on saturday. I find this to be quite strange, as the manufacturers of Dior are based in France, which is really close to the Netherlands...However, countries further away such as the US, Hongkong (China) and Japan had earlier releases than we had.

Oh lordy, so I bought a YSL palette to fill up the gap. It is a really beautiful palette, the no 2...such beautiful colours and exquised texture. And the price, exquised as well...even with the 20% discount --> 40 euros.

Today I received my ichibankao.com haul. I purchased some products of the Kose Fasio fall collection: the Rich stay rouge lipstick, that is absolutely pretty with a lovely formula. Also, a fasio palette, which reminds me a lot of Kate Glamtrick palette.

I finally took the time to swap a bit on Makeupalley. I found a darling Australian swapper who was willing to cp an Australis lipstick in Devotion. I thought it is supposed to be quite dupy to my HG mac Sharp Beige: it is not quite that, but still a fabulous colour with an excellent texture...me likey






I bought a mac quad from Debby, the owner of the lushiousbeautytalk forum in the Netherlands. She was able to purchase the Cult of Cherry collection early on, so...the beautiful Tempting quad is mine....muhaaahaaa

I am very lemming these Jill Stuart blushes. Unfortunately, they are a whopping $57 online (and even more expensive...eeeeek).
Still, I might cave in because of 'research' (blush research, that is).

These palettes are suitable for pressing your own loose pigments into solid eyeshadows....And....yes!!! You can put your mac eyeshadows in these...





Amazing!!!

I am really looking forward to this collection. Some lucky girls from our Dutch forum were able to get the quads from these collections, and they are absolutely lemming-worthy! I truely want the Spiced Chocolate Quad and the Shadowy Lady Quad.
